XDA CAR KIT AUDIO

I have an original XDA and an original official XDA car kit which i use with tomtom navigator 2 with great success.

The XDA car kit works great because it passes all audio through to the speaker - phone calls, sat nav instructions, mp3s, etc...

I have just aquired an XDA 2 and have ordered the car kit from expansys.

Out of impatience i pushed my XDA 2 into my XDA phone kit (it does fit with a bit of encouragement - although i wouldnt recomend it)

I have noticed that the audio is now only sent to the car kit speaker when on a phone call.

This is not ideal for me as i am used to getting the audio from the sat nav and mp3s also from the car speakers.

Does anybody know if this is just an incompatibility with the old car kit and will go away when i get the XDA 2 car kit - or is there a softrware or hardware hack that can be done to rectify the problem...
