Default XDAII / BT GPS / Towa Patch

I've been having some big problems getting my Fortuna BT-Clipon device to work properly.

I managed to get the TomTom software to see the device after installing the patch from http://bluetooth.i-networx.de. Now the connection is really poor and TomTom cannot find my position on the map.

I've been reading through this forum and I see tons of references to the "TOWA" patch but can find no links to actually download it!

Can anyone help with this one?

Oh. .

well, it doesn't seem to have fixed my gps problem.

I find it amazing the amount of things the XDA II cant do.

newb, have you tried using the gps in the open rather than in the car, you may find your windshield has metal inside which will block the gps signal.

Is there a XDA II system version that doesn't need the BT patch ?

I installed TomTom with Bluetooth GPS and it worked straight out of the box. I have not had to download any patches ?

I Have

Microsoft PocketPC Version 4.20.1081 (build 13100)
ROM version: 1.03.00 USA
ROM date: 09/24/03
Radio version: 1.05.12
Protocol version: 1337.12

Fortuna GPSmart works right away out of the box without patch, I am also able to use a bluetooth headset with this.

My citroen C5 has such, I use it(fortune gps) on rear parcel shelf, works fine. If you have poor signal, you have poor signal, no matter how many bt patches you install
