Since You have the red LED now, try the rubebr band trick.
Oh ok, I thought this trick was for something else, due to the blue LED in the picture. Ok, so I applied a rubber band to hold down Vol- and plugged it in while the Flashtool is waiting for a device in flashmode. The LED was still red. We will see what happens next, it's time to wait again.

Edit: After 5 minutes Flashtool said
"Device connected with USB debugging off
For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode"
and the phone's LED was switched off.
Edit: 50 minutes later the red LED was glowing again and Flashtool said "Device disconnected"

@Mirhawk: Is this still ok? Or should i have kept it charging on the wall charger until the red LED disappeared again before I started rubber-banding? Or should I connect it to the Flashtool fastboot mode and rubber-band it to vol+?

The first edit is okay, but the second one shouldn't have occurred. Maybe the phone rebooted. The rubber band trick takes about 9-10 hours to work, so I would recommend keeping phone overnight in that way.

I waited 13 hours now and nothing happened - the reason for this could be the events which i described in the 2nd edit? (red led, device disconnected)
So how should I proceed? Try it again, or try something else?

Edit: I reconnected the phone, and the same thing happened again:
Code:

Your device should stay connected, as You are using rubber band. Don't know why it gets disconnected. Which firmware are You trying to flash? I would recommend using 6.2.b.1.96 firmware and flashtool version 0.9.18.6 . In the new version of flashtool, You have to do some additional stuff to get the phone recognised. Also, is the red LED on or off while performing this procedure?

When I connect the phone, the red LED is on. Some minutes later the "Device connected with USB debugging off" message appears and the LED is off. After 50 more minutes the device gets disconnected and the red LED is on again.

Download the perfect or correct stock room or different versions of flashtool

So, I've been seeing A LOT of threads regarding bricked devices (be it soft or hard bricks). So, I decided to create this thread, so everyone with bricked devices post here for help, instead of filling our forums and XDA servers with a load of topics with the same stuff.

If someone knows of a general unbricking thread, please PM me or tag me with a link so I can post on this post.

I will PM a mod to pin this thread to top.

If you brick your device while flashing kernel and device do not respond any way then follow this little difficult but 100% sure method.

    - Dissemble your phone.
    - Disconnect battery ribbon from motherboard.
    - Reconnect battery ribbon.
    - Fastly connect USB cable while holding vol +/-
    - Flash Kernel or FTF FW.

Just a tip: Try downloading Sony Update Service and following the instructions if you get a green LED blink on your phone, which is way simpler to recover without any problems.
