Default I wish i knew how to hack the xda's....

I wish i knew how to hack the xda's those who can are lucky. The point of this post is to see if a few hackers and developers can conquer the bluetooth headset voice dialling issue. It would send waves through the community if achieved and would be a real class feature which the XDA's do deserve. .....Just a thought

it's not a question of hacking it's a question of developing software which would listen to the stream of sound comming from the headset and recognize and dial or link it with a voice dialer program
hhhmm ok i may be a jerk but i'm a jedi jerk like my father was before me

Yes, if it was achievable I am sure it would have been done by now. The XDA 2 is severely brain damaged in my opinion, so much potential lost through releasing it with a bluetooth stack that doesnt do the job that it should. When I saw bluetooth as part of the spec, I thought I could plug in a headset and use it for voice dialling, in fact it was one of the features that made me buy...................you know the rest of the story. :?
Thank god I am an atheist.

it truely is.... strange a big software company has not tried devkoping something. If its to do with the bluetooth stack there is a program out there that lets you edit the stacks and reduce the amount of them to allow for highier transfer rates would this help.... just searching for ideas....

The main player in Bluetooth software was Widcomm, but since they have been bought out by Broadcomm, they are now only interested in supplying stuff to OEMs. Therefore it is up to the likes of Microsoft, O2 or whoever to do something about it. And I dare say they will ..... eventually :x
