I suppose you're asking how to get it in a permanent way... elsewere it is simply to tick "options" in SMS edit window and tick the "Ask for confirmation" check-box....

For the permanent sending, I have no clue... maybe some registry juggling....

Hear you soon!

Does anyone know of an app that will check the confirmationbox automatically?
And if there isn't such an app, could anyone try making it? I'd be willing to pay for it...

Default solution!

I found a fix for this: install the cab, and confirmations is requested on every outgoing sms...

I hope I can attach a file from my PDA2K... if not here is a link:

(edited mmm I cant opload a file.... try the link...

If you'd like to do this manually (without the cab) and you know how to edit the registry, you just need to create a DWORD value called SMSDeliveryNotify in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s with the value 0x1

Is there any possibility of doing this on the Qtek 8080 ??

Duarte,

Unfortunately I don't know, the thread from which I got that nugget of knowledge is http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=15524 which states that WM2003 Second Edition is required so I guess if the 8080 doesn't run that you're out of luck!
