Default Unlocking XDA IIs and/or getting into bootloader mode

Hi All,

Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I bought an XDA IIs on the UK O2 network a few days ago.

I am trying to unlock it so that I can use it in India with an Airtel Sim, for both normal tel calls and GPRS data needs.

I bought an unlocking package, but unfortunately the company's support is not available.

It suggested that I first put it into bootloader mode, before installing some software. I followed the instruction of pressing on/off + action button + reset, but it did not go into the bootloader mode. Any ideas?

I then tried to install the XDA II unlock software, but that falled too.

Can anyone help me?
Thanks,

Alex

Dear alexbrag,

May I ask whether or not you got the unlocking software to work? And if so, what software did you use (url?)

I am planning to also buy this XDA iiS and travel quite alot in scandinavia and want to use different sims

Any help would be useful
