Default Need a decent loud, simple ringtone ...

The supplied ringtones are useless. I've lost count of how many calls I have missed - I just can't hear them. To me - all the latest ringtones are nowhere as good as the old fashioned 'ring-ring' that used to be standard on most cellphones.

Anyone got a good replacement ringtone, one that is loud, simple (ring ring or similar) and easily available ?

Thanks

Mark

I had the same problem, and my solution was to modify the "Old Phone" tone (taken from an SE T610) to a "double-ringtone", put it 6dB louder as original and converted it to .wma. I'm very happy now, since I use this ringtone I've the most time the volumecontrol 2 dashes down the maximum!

Here is the Old Phone ringtone from the PDA2k. I extracted it, converted it to wav, and amplified it a great deal.
