AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! No matter what i do it's an "issue'! Tried One Click - didn't work. Tried two or three other methods of rooting - didn't work! All I got were tool or search bars I didn't want, programs I didn't want, and so on. "Try my downloader! OH! And try these 3 stupid games you have to sacrifice a virgin goat to get off your PC!" Isn't there a way to root my damn S3 without entering into a long-term relationship with some program I could care less about!?

Ummmm...
Did you not read the last few posts? Or search this forum (and development)?
None of our rooting methods require anything other than the time it takes for you to read and learn.

Sounds like you clicked a malware-bait "download" link in an ad, instead of the actual download link for the content.

Has happened to me on slim-roms more than once I'm embarrassed to admit.

I HATE that! But I keep getting it regardless of how well I read the thread. Do you have a lead on any clean ways to root? I really had my hopes up for One Click too...

this is the way i did it, currently there is not a one click solution.
here's what you will need.
  1. MotoChopper https://www.cubby.com/pl/motochopper...4c20b4992170c2 or the modded version here (recomended) https://www.cubby.com/pl/4.3_Modded_...49f5f67b0fd45a
  2. TWRP 2.6.0.0. or above http://goo.im/devs/s0updev/gooinsideme
  3. SuperSu and its custom binary ( you will need to search for this as Super user for jellybean 4.3
  4. a micro sdcard

the Motochopper exploit is still open and working on AOSP 4.3 however Google changed the way that file permissions are granted and this is why it doesn't fully root your phone the way it did on the OEM firmware.
  1. first make sure you phone has root access allowed for adb and apps in the developers options. (if you don't know how to enable the developers options Google also changed this in 4+, go to settings>about phone> tap on your build number 7-10 times to enable developers options)
  2. make sure debugging is enabled.
  3. now take the superSU.apk and the su binary for it and replace the files in Motochopper
  4. place the su binary file on your microsd card and your internal sd card
  5. run the Motochopper exploit (it will install the SuperUser.apk but not the binary, this is the file permissions change Google made)
  6. boot into TWRP and mount the system.
  7. copy the su binary you placed on the microsd card
  8. paste it into /system/bin
  9. paste it into /system/xbin
  10. reboot and you should have Super user access

Oh Dear God!

Do I understand you correctly that you are trying to "Root" Slimbean 4.3 ? Try to read that Rom's OP. You are supposed to
1. Unlock Developer Options by clicking 7 times on Build Number.
2. Under Developer Tools, Change SU setting to ADB & Apps.
