bug: when i try to choose a file for an app using simple explorer, it does not send the file link to the app. instead it will try to open the file as it does when opening the file directly via simple explorer. e.g. when selecting a zip file for zipinstaller, simple explorer gives the option to extract it. or when choosing a keepass database for keepassdroid simple explorer brings up the app picker.

Thanks for the bug fixes but it looks like I was a little misunderstood with the first bug I posted. Install this version of Zipinstaller:

http://goo.im/devs/beerbong/apps/Zip...ller-3.3.7.apk

It's an app that installs zips through recovery. When opened select the "Add zip/sh to list" option.
Select Simple Explorer if u have another file explorer installed. Then try to select a zip file. It doesn't send the file link to Zipinstaller. It works with OI File Manager from the play store.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ts.filemanager

Other apps that use this feature like Zipinstaller.

KeePassDroid

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ndroid.keepass

Keepass2Android

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...eepass2android

Cryptonite

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...csh.cryptonite

Also you should add an "About" opition where you have your "App Manager" & "Settings" options after pressing the 3 dot menu button. That when pressed it will show your name, version number, a link to this thread and a link to the source.

I wish i could code java now to help out more planning to learn it in the future.

I think its not a bug because this feature is not implented but i will add it. Instead of an "About" option i added a link to this forum in preferences.

Thanks dude for this..
I was stuck with a ASOP rom with no file manager and as the touch screen has a large chunk not working I have wiped the internals of it and sending it off for repair. but as its a 3rd party repair shop here in China there is no way i was going to send it out with my Google account details in it..
So since yours is at the top of the list and is a direct download..
I thank you very much..
