New Qtek S100 ExtROM (1.06.116WWE) available

Qtek announces today that they've released a ExtROM upgrade.

According to the web site the new ExtROM will fix the following issues:
* GSM radio software update
* MMS client (2.0.0.20)
* Caller ID
* Phone PAD Swedish T9
* Bluetooth software update

According to a phone call with Brightpoint (a swedish service partner) the new ExtROM will also fix a problem with low microphone gain.

According to Qtek web page the ExtROM can only be installed on a swedish Qtek S100 with ExtROM version: 1.03.148 At least one guy in Sweden failed to install the new ExtROM on his "Telia"-branded unit (with ExtROM version: 1.03.168WWE).

I'm away from home now and can't update, but the Swedish T9 sounds great! Been wanting that since I first bought it!

Yes, installed it last afternoon. You wont regret upgrading your device. Swedish T9 is ok but "only" working with Phone Pad. Also Finnish and many other languages are supported tho.

Can you please upload on the FTP the content of your ExtROM ?

If you don't know how to access to ExtROM:
Make a Hard Reboot, and after the boot image while it's going to display something like "installing apps", make a soft reboot.

And then you could read the content of your ExtROM.

The BT update seems to be a bit messed up. If you disable BT and leave it of for some time before you try to reenable it again it will tell you that there is no BT hardware available on the device.

Best way is to buy a Swedish Qtek S100.

could anyone please upload the Swedish, Finnish, Norweigan, Danish T9 Dictionaries for the intellipad - i have the iMate jam and can not update...but i am interested in these files due to the fact that i am DANISH

I have a Qtek S100 which I bought in the Netherlands (Dutch). The software is English. I have ExtROM version: 1.03.148, but it's not Swedish.

Is it safe to upgrade to 1.06. 116?
