Just installed the cm kernel on cm7.2 by sir Percy.
The overclocking works nicely. I guess all the govs are not working properly not too sure. Main bug is bluetooth doesn't turn on,shows nothing when pressed.
Please fix it as fast as possible.
Other than that marvellous work.

Sent from my sgy using a finally stable cm7.
I m always there to help.
Tried this kernel for alittle while and everything seems good. Great work :good:
Waiting for it to become fully fully stable(dont have time to deal with inconsistencies right now) Using hells fusion for now. Eagerly awaiting updates
1. Would this kernel have "deep sleep not working due to link2sd" error?
2. can the cwm in this kernel back up externel sd card partition?
3. Can you include frandom support? http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2113150
5. Frandom support (Optional) - CrossBreeder now supports linking both your random devices to the extremely fast alternative - Frandom ( http://billauer.co.il/frandom.html ). This module is orders of magnitude (10-50 times) faster than the standard character devices ( Check this out - http://xdaforums.com/show...&postcount=134 ). The erandom character device also installed by Frandom doesn't use up system entropy at all on top of being fast. You will need to ask your ROM developer to develop the kernel module for you and then place it in /system/lib/modules. CrossBreeder will then try and load it and if successful, make all the necessary adjustments so that both /dev/random and /dev/urandom are pointing to /dev/frandom and /dev/erandom respectively. The speed benefits are to be seen to be believed. But since each ROM requires a unique kernel module, this option is left optional ( but auto detect ). Advanced users can even try and load the frandom module built for other kernels if they don't have one readily available for their own kernel version using the Punchmod utility. i get a lot of UI lag when i use 1.2 ghz as max frequency. it goes away for some time if i use perofrmance governor and put it back to any other governor like smartass2 or interactive(interactive seems to work great). the lag comes back when i reboot. It can be fixed by using performance governor for a minute and then switching to any other governor.
My wifi wasnt working and got it fixed by flashing stock wifi drivers.
Compile From Samsung OpenSource Update 2.

i applied this to my SGY, Hyperion 8. I removed the hells kernel and then install this one. But it seems to much worsen the state of my phone. i can't feel the 1.2 ghz. it lags.
There is much talk about overclocking SGY. Some people say that s5360 can not be overclocked. They say that overclocking is fake on SGY. Personally I didn't noticed much different between 832Mhz and 1.248Ghz (on Merruk 2.5 #206) but AnTuTu gives me more points after overclock. Of cource AnTuTu is not accurate and doesn't tell about real performance. I have also tested bogoMIPS with overclocked kernel and bogoMIPS point raise up also.
However, if you are looking for better performance FEELING, I guess you should try memory tweaks (V6 SuperCharger, KickAssKernelizer (KAK) etc.). They give you "fast feeling". You can also upgrade your Hyperion 8 to 9. Personally I like Merruk 2.5 #206 kernel at 1.248Ghz but it drains some battery. If you want more battery you can use Savie #73 kernel with Merruk beta file (OVERCLOCK_SGY.zip). With Savie #73 and Merruk beta file you can overclock your SGY to 900Mhz. (check this thead, in the end there are links to Savie #73 and Merruk beta).
