Hey all,

Just curious if anyone has been able to get the PS3 controller working over Bluetooth with their new Nexus 7? I have tried with the Sixaxis app from the market with no success.

Maybe a new kernel is needed?

Thanks

Do you use Bluetooth or USB OTG to connect?

Search for BetterDS3 to pair your controller on your computer. Works like a charm!

Tried this already and also paired with the pair tool but the app didnt work, it kept asking to plug in via usb to connect...

I was able to pair to my rooted N7 using the sixaxis tool and an OTG cable. Otherwise, you have to manually enter the bluetooth address of the controller using the sixaxis pair tool (http://www.dancingpixelstudios.com/s...ller/tool.html).

I had to try a few times to get it paired successfully but in theory, all you need is the sixaxis app and a rooted N7. The OTG cable makes pairing easier since you don't have to find out the bluetooth address of your controller, but the PC method will take care of that if you don't have the cable handy.

Ohhh.. I always forget to mention. When you are pairing your controller on the computer, you have to enter the N7s address in backwards.

N7 Address: 3F:45:67:89:4D
Enter into Sixaxis: 4D:89:67:45:3F

Super weird but it never fails Used it to sync up and play some Riptide yesterday. Been using the same method for months on other devices.

P.S.: I use BetterDS3 because last time I tried, Sixaxis Pair Tool did not work with W8.
