Default Downgrade from ActiveSync 4 *solution*

Hello,

i finally successfully downgrade from AS4 to the good old AS3.8.

Here we go :

1. Uninstall AS4
2. Delete rapi.dll from C:\WINDOWS\system32\
3. Delete ceutil.dll from C:\WINDOWS\system32\
4. Delete all Files from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\NoteSync Forms
5. Install AS3.8

Default Why?

Why would you downgrade to AS 3.8? I haven't installed it yet (I was about to though). Is it unstable or what?

Default Wifi Conncection

I don't see any settings for network connections in AS4... you don't gain anything without having Windows Mobile 5 and having AS4. DON"T UPGRADE

I had issues with a third party sync. tool (MobSync) under 4.0 so went back to 3.8.

Default another reason...

another reason u would downgrade to 3.8 if not using wm2005, is, 3.8 supports "leave unresolved" when there is a conflict in the data in pc and data in device, but AS4.0 does not have the option to "leave it unresolved" it will just replace either of them, so u dont have the option to have a look when such happens.!

finally i had to go back to ol sweet wm2003se!
