my XDAiis format always

my XDAiis always freeze...but after i take away the battery and out it again....or press the "reset" hole..it will ask me to install the o2 again...and all my contact and program also lost..!! need to install it and sync always....poorr..!

any people can help me...i also found it the "backup battery" is 0%...is it that problem?..! but i already charging it everyday..! :?

Dont take the battery out!

This is what is causing you to lose all your data. All the data on your xdaIIs is sored in RAM not ROM. Which means that as soon as hte battery runs flat or you take the battery out the phone loses all your data.

The backup battery does empty very quick once you take out your battery, so dont do it. Just use the soft reset button on the bottom of the device to perform a reset if it crashes. Dont hold the power button whilst pressing the soft reset button at the bottom as this would also cause you to lose all your data.

Upgrade to the latest rom. Look in the WIKI for instructions.

ok thx...but may i know what is "wiki instruction"?...
and how to upgrade the rom to be latest? u mean the "drver" or change to be a newest rom for my xda? sorry for so many question..! ops:

and i heard that if i installed spb..it will make xda iis always slow and freeze or hard reset alwasy...is it true?
