Ubuntu Touch restore problem with TWRP - or: "I am the first with a (semi)hard brick"
EDIT: Scratch that. All good for now. Still have no f*ing clue wtf went wrong, but I don't really care at the moment.
the story: Came from Paranoid Android 3.99, did a fullwipe and flashed ubuntu touch.
Ubuntu touch worked, but I was sick of it, so I wanted to go back.
Again, full wipe and a restore. TWRP 188.8.131.52 crashed at restoring data and the trouble started.
Fullwipe number 2 and still, TWRP crashes at restoring the data, no matter which backup.
I used the file manager (included) and searched for the troublemaker and deleted the sdcard/ubuntu folder, because it's HUGE. (This is where I started realising that something a) is wrong and b) ~ubuntu was not deleted, so the sdcard didn't got wiped.)
It smelled really fishy.
Then I tried to restore it again, and since then TWRP is stuck.
Flashed it again (via linux), still not booting into TWRP. Stuck in fastboot.
Can anybody help me?
My next step is flashing TWRP 184.108.40.206
Edit 1: TWRP 220.127.116.11 does not boot either. F*ck! What now?
Edit 2: System does not boot either, if anybody even asked himself that. Well, I guess I am f*cked.
Edit 3: I tried flashing CWM. It worked (Big YEEHAW!)
Edit 3.5: CWM can't wipe /data. Wtf!
Edit 4: Since I can't restore TWRP backups under CWM, I tried to flash TWRP again. Does not work. Well, that's it with TWRP, never again.
