I tried to put on a custom rom on my phone but when it starts up now it says the following:

"[LGE_SECURITY ERROR] boot image signature
Critical failure: Unable to start kernel
Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x00000002)

What can I do now? got no backup

You couldn't be bothered to search? You didn't notice the two threads - one longer one and one created the other day - about exactly the same thing that were sat on the front page of this forum? Really?

I put in "LG-Optimus-4XHD-Recovery-v1.2" and "LGUnitedMobileDriver_Ver_3.7.2_LG-P880_LGO4XHD" before using recovery to install "Carbon_1.7_root_fix".

What can i do now. I can get in recoverymode by pushin vol- and power on, but what can I do from there.? I cant transfer content to the phone so cant really get new firmware on it. maybe on the sdcard?

You really need to learn how to search. That's not me being arrogant, but all you need to know has been discussed many times before.

PROBLEM SOLVED! The problem seemed to be that I use Win8 not Win7. Used my old laptop to flash it and it worked.
