[Q] Black screen, crashing apps, need help
I have several issues with my HTC One X. About two weeks ago my HOX turned off while playing Ingress, at this time I thought due to the battery, although I had about 20 % left. The phone went into a bootloop, showing only the HTC logo and then a black screen for a few seconds before rebooting again. I could only stop it by booting into HBOOT with Power + Vol down. I used Cyanogenmod RC when this happened, the rom had been installed for about a month without any problems.
I made a wipe and installed a CM nightly, thinking it was just a one time bug. However with the nightly the problems evolved. Google apps crashed (I double checked gapps, it was the correct version), I got the com.phone.android has stopped error, Google+, Hangouts and so on stopped working. I wiped the nightly again and installed the latest stable release of CM, but the problems remained. Also I got crashes to black screen, both when using apps and when they screen fades to black for standby I couldn't reactivate it. The phone then restarts by itself.
I thought it might be a CM problem any installed the Viper Rom. However today I got the exact same errors. Google apps crashing any Blackburn screens. I wiped the Dalvik cache, which helped for a fee hours, but this could have been coincidence.
I will try a full reset, with resetting the bootloader, new recovery and full wipe of the sd today, maybe this helps. I can't send it to my dealer, since I needed it next week. And I think it's too old for the guarantee as well.
Edit: I forgot to mention, that I only have EDGE with Viper Rom, no HSDPA.
