[Q] Changing to teamSeven Kernel
Right now I'm with the HTC One about 3 weeks and I'm very satisfied from it,
except a few flaws that we all experience - low battery life, long lasting charging and
the location of the power button. I'm doing all my best to minimize those flaws, so
I decided to install the teamSeven kernel to operate better the phone using the HTC logo.
Before I'll do it - I would like to ask you a few questions about the process. I'm not interested
in any other things except the option of powering up the phone using the logo. I don't care from
better performance and capabilities, I'm not looking for it and the phone is good for me as it
came "stock" from the box.
1. My device purchased in Germany, as said before none hardware changes have made
into it. except of updating it to 4.2.2 via Wi-Fi. Do I need to worry before I begin the process?
Do I need to install few things before I do something? I know I need to root the device, the
question is - DO I NEED TO DO ANOTHER THING FOR IT TO WORK?
2. Does this state is reversible? I mean, if I'll install the kernel and I don't like it,
can I go back to the original settings/kernel without any problems? Do I need to backup
my current kernel? If yes, how? (I have the original kernel came with the phone right now).
I would like you to tell me everything I should know before I even start doing something,
I don't want to ruin my One.
Thanks a lot!
