Why upgrade?

I've recently upgraded to the tmobile mda pro, been reading this forum for a few days and everyone seems to be upgrading there rom, but what is the benefit of this? are there any major advantges?

tehe reason why i made the upgrade are:

- get rid of t-mobile branding
- msn messenger
- anti-virus software
- skype software
- better wifi-support

right, did you have any issues adding in the t-mobile settings after you upgraded?

Also which upgrade did you apply?
