Default Sprite Back Up and WM 5.0

It seems that Sprite B Up is not compatible with the Qtek 9100 / WM 5.0

Could you confirm. On my device it doesn't work

same here dude, sprite installs, but crashes when I either restore or backup, obviously sprite isnt compatible with wm 5.0, anyone can suggest a good backup system for wm 5.0? since wm 5.0 for BA is still quite buggy, im really on the lookout for a good backup system for the device :|

Try Sunnysoft backup. This has been reported to work perfectly. (Hint: Use search before posting)

Default News from Sprite Backup Company

Email from Sprite :

Hi guys –
we are very busy testing and finalizing Backup for WM5 – we want to be sure we can offer a full feature product to the market right from the start. Soonest this is done, we will use this information and base to change Sprite Clone to WM5 as well – currently looking at Backup WM5 in about a month I’d say and Sprite Clone WM5 about a month after that – so with all the holidays – probably end of January 06 to be honest. I will keep you on my notify list and soonest the Beta is available, I will let you know.

Regards

Whoops,

Sunnysoft works, but it does have some flaws. It does not restore email or email settings. It requires that you keep the exe on a storage card as well since the self extracting backup, does not work. sometimes it makes duplicates of all 3rd party software.

....btw...a search probably would have found that out.
