[Q] To be rooted or not rooted with these circumstances.
I downloaded Avast Antivirus for my Android jelly bean (I have Samsung GT 5282 phone) and the antivirus says I must root my cellphone to use it's firewall and more importantly the anti theft feature. On the other hand - as I heard - you can't do anything in google services when you root a device. So what should I do? I really like to have an "anti theft" and "reverse tethering" features and still accessing google.
I noticed "reverse tethering" because I want to use the Internet of my desktop in the smart phone by a USB cable.
