Default Prevent Wizard from auto-syncing when connected to PC?

Sometimes my Qtek 9100 is being charged via the USB cable, and when i turn it on to just check something quick, it tries to sync. how do i prevent it from trying to sync? i want to be able to tell it when to connect to ActiveSync and sync.

in file -> connection settings, there is an option "open ActiveSync when my device connects" and i disabled that option, but ActiveSync would still open when I connect my Wizard.

thanks,

Annoyingly, this feature seems to have been removed from AS 4.0/4.1. In previous versions you used to be able to specify Sync on connect/ manually.

Double click on the ActivSync icon on PC, then File > Connection Settings.

Uncheck "Allow USB connections".
Click OK, you are done.

yeah, i'll live with that while they are improving on this very limited version of activesync.

If card export 2 works with WM5 it will give you an option to connect via active sync OR via USB mass storage (which locks the SD card) but still helps you out,,,

everyone should use card export 2!

why is it so hard to put USB 2.0 in device like the HTC Wizard. it would've made the device much more usable with card export.
