Is XDA IIi work with T-Mobile USA?

From what I've learned, isn't the XDA IIi the UK version?

And if so, can I use the XDA IIi with T-Mobile in the USA?

I just want to make sure this is correct before I purchase it.

Also, I see the Alpine and Andes, what's the difference? Which one is better? Which one is the newest?

Yes it will, but only in 1900 mode. No 850Mhz support. So, if you planning to visit wide areas outside big cities - it is not for you.

So, resume it PARTIALLY support.

It will work just fine with T-Mobile USA which uses 1900 only across the entire US. But as Server said, it'll work best in major cities where towers are placed well enough to provide a consistent signal.
