No luck here... I keep getting this message from Supersu and no root apps work. I'm on the latest Colombian 4.4.2 firmware.

You have to install twrp and then download the SuperSU zip file and put in on your device. Then flash the zip file in twrp

I tried this using the zip from earlier in this thread. It failed in TWRP.

I had to do exactly that to get root access. Flashing supersu.zip didn't help, but installing SuperSU from Google play after installing TWRP did the trick. All seems to be good (but of course I tripped Knox).
