Unlock SPV-M5000 with new ROM flash

I am wanting to unlock my SPV-M5000 but there seems to be no solution available at the moment (well a sim unlock tool at least). And I am impatient of course!

I have heard rumours that TMobile users can call tmobile and get it unlocked for £20.00 but I doubt Orange would do that.

If I took the original JasJar ROM and re-flahed it with that ROM would it become unlocked and allow me to use any SIM ???

no way buddies, reflashing wont unlock your UNiversals. nothing will make this but for a special unlock tool and we are all waiting for it

Why not we all who owns a simlock Universal to commit to donate some amount to the person whom can come out with the unlocker tool ? Just a suggestion. I am willing to donate GBP 15)sorry dun think can afford to donate more than that)
