Want to upgrade radio rom

Hi,
Is it possible to upgrade radio rom and leave other parts untouched?

I have trouble with 01.01.10 radio, GPRS gets stuck often. I want to flash 01.04.10.

I'm to, please :cry:

I've already tried 1.9.10 radio from norwegian ROM, - it was useless... I still can't start GPRS without SR .
What can we do with MTS... :?

With norwegian ROM? Soft reset? Fu... MTS! :evil:

I'm not sure it's MTS' fault. My previous Qtek 9090 with the newest radio rom worked fine.

I was told that 01.04.10 has no such problem so I want to try it but cannot find a way.

Vishni: Sure it's not MTS fault, but why I have no problem with other two: Beeline and Megafon :roll: ?
Russian ROM has 1.4.10 radio. If you want it I can upload ntrw dump, but it is 128 Mb...

Hm-m... I have Russian ROM too but radio is 01.01.10.

1. What is the OS rom version in your Russian ROM? 1.3.9.4 RUS?

2. 1.4.10 radio has GPRS trouble too using MTS, hasn't it?

I have a Jasjar, which was running:
ROM version 1.13.53 WWE
Radio version 1.03.01
ExtROM version 1.13.137 WWE


I ran the radio-only upgrade, which errored the first time but ran without problem the second time. After a soft reset, I now have:
ROM version 1.13.53 WWE
Radio version 1.04.02
ExtROM version 1.13.137 WWE

All my settings/hacks were retained and no information was lost. The radio appears to be stable.
