Default new roms for jasjar and kjam due jan 06

hey guys, I talked to imate directly and they have advised new jasjar and kjam roms will be launched by 2nd wk of jan 06. these roms include msfp (messaging and security feature pack) for tcpip autd and remote device wipe.

No real confirmation, but the MSFP is part of AKU2 from MS which should also include the A2DProfile. That doesn't require BT 2, but is a nice addition.

Default Read end jan/febr.

Read somewhere that it is delayed till end jan. begin febr. because update WM5 is still in Beta and not ready yet.

According to the various webcasts that I've attended on the MSFP/AKU 2.0, it was released to carriers and OEMs around November of last year. It has been in their hands since that time,and there is already one OEM (Gigabyte) that has released a device with AKU 2.0 built in.

So, it is up to Imate to get it out on the devices now.
