Default Bluetooth in general and HF800 BT speaker in particular

Has anyone tried to pair and use the Motorola HF800 Bluetooth speaker together with the Wizard?

According to http://www.mobiletechreview.com/tips/Motorola_HF800.htm, the following functions, apart from being able to produce the audio output from the pda, are supported by the speaker: "voice dialing, redialing, putting a call on hold and call conferencing". Do these features work together with the Wizard?

Coming from fantastic SonyEricsson and Ipaq bluetooth environments, where I never had to worry about bluetooth functionality, I have realised that the MS Bluetooth stack isn't to be taken for granted...

If I have understood it correctly, the Qtek offers "Dial-up Networking", "Serial Port" and "Object push" as bluetooth services. Is there a limitiation regarding services, provided by other paired devices, that it can utilize (eg the above mentioned services provided by the Motorola speaker)?

Thanks in advance!

Default Bluetooth problems too!!!

Hi,

I am not sure about your problems with the Motorola headset...
All I can say is that i am very disappointed with the functioning of the Nokia Carkit ck7-w in combination with the Qtek 9100... I only have this carkit for about 6 months, and now it doesn't work with the Qtek 9100. Well, it works but there is a very annoying echo for the person on the other side of the line...

Appearantly nokia say that the carkit is only fully compatible with Nokia phones... So what's the thing with Bluetooth, i thought this was meant to be a universal system, so howcome it is still brand-specific...

Anyway, if anybody has a solution for Bluetooth communication with this carket, or the Motorola Headset it would be very welcome.

Please do not "hijack" this thread. My questions were:

1.) Has anyone tried to pair and use the Motorola HF800 Bluetooth speaker together with the Wizard?

2.) If I have understood it correctly, the Qtek offers "Dial-up Networking", "Serial Port" and "Object push" as bluetooth services. Is there a limitiation regarding services, provided by other paired devices, that the Qtek is capable of utilizing (eg the above mentioned services provided by the Motorola speaker)?

Default Stepping on your toes

Sorry man, didn't mean to step on your toes!!!

As nobody replied to your item for over a month i decided to try and broaden the subject so maybe YOU and other users get helped in one go.
Obviously i see these items as related since they all deal with the bluetooth issues from Qtek....

Anyway, let's try to solve both 'problems' and wait for replies for other Forum users.

Ciao!
