Vender ID

Hi,

Having an English Qtek 9100 (WWE) of a friend and wanting to update to the Dutch version of the OS using XDA Developers FTP: "RUU_Prodigy_1030710_110_10410_Qtek_NLD_Ship.e xe".

The update process starts and suddenly stops with message: "INVALID VENDER ID - CHECK UPDATE UTILITY".

How do I by-pass this error and get this 9100 into Dutch?

Have you followed these steps:
Enable RAPI
Unlock CID
Backup OS ROM and Extended ROM from device
At last run: RUU_Prodigy_1030710_110_10410_Qtek_NLD_Ship.exe
?

Yes I tried that and I already succeeded.
Never did a Windows Mobile ROM update before and using "aWizard" I managed to do the job.

i have the same problem. Also my activesync doesnt work. can u tell me exactly what to do
