Default WLAN G in all Wizards - It works!

Hi,

I just found out a way how to activate WLAN G Mode for a Wizard. I tested it with my German T-Mobile MDA Vario. I wrote a little programm that both activates WLAN G and does some performancetweaks that truly speed up work with the wizard. It also enables the keyboard capnotifier.

Take a look here: http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/s...d=1#post646568

Just put the below file on your Wizard and execute it on it. There you are!

EDIT: I forgot to mention that you have to reset the device for the changes to take effect. The safest way to do so is to hold the standby button until he asks you to shut off. Then switch it on again by holding one more time.

Interesting

Anybody else tried it?

I'd like the know if the speed up claim is true, I guess trying it for myself would be the most obvious test.

i did try it & it does really speed up the device. i mainly got it for the speed up actually, i don't connect to any wireless here, & so far it's really a good boost to the device speed.

cheers.
