Region lock away on MJ5

I tried on my rooted mj5 but after reboot it is still fail. Is there any other means to work? I know I can't downgrade to MI9. Can I use this method to help? http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2559715 thanks!

You can use that method to restore MJ5. I have done that many times.
