Default Sprint G2 Network Mode setting?

In the system settings > more... > mobile network, there is an option to change network modes.
Our G2's came with Global selected.

What does each "mode" do?
And which is best to select?

Still no replies.
2 phones sitting in the same place, one on global, the other on LTE/CDMA both got 4G in the same place today and lost it in the same place. They both also roamed in the same places.
So far I haven't noticed a difference.

Maybe someone will be able to explain these modes eventually.

My take on it is Global is a combination of all below. LTE/CDMA is 4G LTE if available and 3G CDMA if not. CDMA is just 3G. GSM/UTMS is for travel outside the US or Sprint covered countries. I usually leave in Global unless I am in a crappy area and keep switching between 4g and 3g then I switch to CDMA only. Just my take on it.

Above he pretty much nailed it; global is LTE CDMA and 2g's all in one ...global use available, CDMA LTE is 3g or 4glte mix spending if you get 4g and CDMA is 3g and etc..... Usually leave in global or CDMA LTE or if you only want 3g CDMA saves battery
