Cant root my galaxy y

please help friends...
i tried to root galaxy y by flashing update.zip in recovery mode...it shows "update from sd card installed successfully." but on booting i cant find the super user app ....i also used root checker...it shows root access is denied...please help friends...

Wipe data n restore ur phone then try this below zip by flashing... http://d-h.st/qxn

Try flashing this multiroot intaller mirrored by me

Installation:
1.go to recovery mode and flash cwm.zip
2.go to mount and storage
3.mount all
3.go to install zip from sd card
4.choose the multirootinstaller
5.follow the instruction
6.reboot
7.done
