What is the build number of your device? Go in the dialer en type *#1234# (or something like that) and tell what is says. Maybe your software is not supported as samsung has patched it on some versions.

Stock no-wipe ROM for I9505XXUEMKF
Hi,

After having a bad experience with my previous phone, before rooting my new phone, I would like to ensure that I can rollback to stock for warranty support.

I have a non Verzion device and am looking for the Stock no-wipe firmware for it.

My model number is: I9505XXUEMKF

Hope anyone can help me find it.

thanks Rob

Depends on what you mean by roll back. Un rooting is easy - one click in SuperSu. Restoring stock ROM depends on what is possible with your device. I had no problem Odining back to stock on AT&T GS4. Check the forum, but I presume MKF is no more difficult than MK2.

Thanks for the reply, what I mean is: When I need to go back to completely stock, the guide in post #2 mentioned to use ODIN to flash a no-wipe rom. I did some research, but cannot find a no-wipe rom for I9505XXUEMKF.

I hope someone can help me find a download site for the no-wipe version for I9505XXUEMKF. Maybe I just do not understand the no-wipe thing and I can just download the stock ROM from samsung-updates.com.

By "no-wipe" I think you mean without wiping /data, right? But if you are returning to stock, this us just what you need to do: extraneous data there or on /sdcard, and of course on /system may lead to a non-stock situation. The answer is to back up everything you need (like pictures) to an external sd card, remove the card from the phone, then do the Odin flash.
Afterwards, remount the card and restore whatever you wish.

Thanks for helping. By no-wipe, I do not know what it means. It is explained in post #2. There they are talking about "stock no-wipe ROMs from this forum". I was not able to find out what it means. I think that you are right, that it is only needed if you whish to keep your data.

I do not care about my data, I just want the option to go completely back to stock with all flaggs back to factory settings to be able to get warranty when needed.

Therefore I would like to know if I can flash the roms from: http://www.sammobile.com/ or http://samsung-updates.com/ without triggering the knox warranty fuse.

Good Morning.
Just tried SafeRoot on 4.4.2 - and it failed pretty miserably. Oh well.
Not going for the CF Root, I prefer to keep the KNOX Flag from getting tripped.
