Default [Q] Xposed Installer Question/Issue

I have a Verizon Galaxy Note 2 that is rooted and I have installed the Xposed Installer v 2.4. When I go to Framework and click on Install/Update, nothing seems to happen. I've seen a video where someone did this and it started doing something right away.

The XposedBridge.jar shows that '42' is active but nothing is showing as active for app_process.

After several minutes, I try clicking on Reboot and I get a message saying that Xposed Installer isn't responding. So, I click on 'wait' and wait some more.

Did Framework really get installed? If not, have I done something incorrectly? Is it doing something in the background?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

It doesn't sound like it installed. When you click install it should tell you that /system is being mounted r/w and such. Check in Superuser/SuperSU to see if Xposed has denied root access.
