Unhappy [Q] WiFi dead - how to fix it?

Hi, I have TF700T with Asus stock ROM 10.6.1.14.8 rooted with MotoChopper.
It worked fine for months after root, but lately had become very slow, so I thought about using different ROM.
My intention was to unlock bootloader, install TWRP and use CROMI-X but BEFORE THAT, I performed backup on external SD card, removed it and performed a factory reset, just to start with a fresh situation.
On reboot the WiFi does not activate anymore
I have tried 3 factory resets already but nothing, WiFi does not work
I do not trust to go on with unlock and other things, if the WiFi is KO.
I have disabled Wifi battery saving, nothing changes.
The bluetooth works, the WiFi direct works, but not the normal WiFi.
What can I do now?

Update:
Reflashing stock rom from sd card and crossing my fingers ...

Update 2:
And WiFi is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to root tablet once again.

Good - that would have been my guess: A bad flash.
But you don't have to root it and if you flashed .10 firmware you will find that Motochopper fails - doesn't work on .10 anymore.
Just unlock it, use the Minimal ADB Fastboot Tool to install TWRP 2.6.3.1 and then you can flash CROMi-X.
