Default [Q] lost root access

Hi, forgive me if this is a stupid question but after flashing the latest t0lte nightly I have lost root access.

How has this happened?

I've been flashing CM nightlies for weeks but fancied a change after reading up about omnirom.
Im running an international note 2 LTE using cwm, rooted with Odin.

How do I get root access back? Is it case of me having to flash via Odin again?

More than grateful for any help here!

Cheers

Flash SuperSU in recovery

We haven't yet integrated SuperSU into the package itself, and fixing that has been low priority since:
1) You can't flash Omni without a custom recovery
2) If you have a custom recovery that can flash Omni, you can flash SuperSU in recovery
3) Once you've flashed SuperSU, you can go to its Settings->Custom ROM and enable the backup script
*so much sig updating needed*

My Github profile - Some Android stuff, some AVR stuff

An excellent post on "noobs vs. developers"

A few opinions on kernel development "good practices"

Note: I have chosen not to use XDA's "friends" feature - I will reject all incoming "friend" requests.

Code:

Ah makes sense! is the latest superSU.zip listed on XDA? I can't locate it.

Thanks for your help!!!

Ok, i've pulled the superSU zip from chainfire and flashed it, however it is giving me a error message.

"There is no SU binary installed and superuser cannot install it. This is a problem!"

So I am unable to run step 3

Please help

Cheers again

That's strange - 1.80 works perfectly for me.

Yesssssss.

Ok I got there in the end, grabbed Chainfire's latest SU from his G+ page (ver1.80)

Flashed this version and it allowed me to access settings and in turn run the backup script

Thank you so much for your help, much appreciated
