Default Updates?

Now that Google has sold off Motorola to Lenovo, are we still expecting regular updates or is this device doomed to the never to be updated category?

I have KK on already, is that going to be it?

There aren't any more updates for Android right now, it's at 4.4.2 and no one here can predict the future. Moto G was released with a planned update for 4.4.2, they didn't promise any others.
Current Devices:
Moto G 16GB
Huawei Y300 (Black)
Alcatel OT-983 (Black) [Dead]
Nokia 2630
Xperia Play R800i (Black) [Dead]
Nexus 7 (16GB) [Returned]
