So.. what is the delta between AKU1 and AKU2 ROMs?
With the release of the i-mate K-Jam 2.x ROM we've seen that AKU2 brings us the Push Email goodness, and apparently doesn't offer stereo bluetooth audio (although there are some rumours of registry changes and/or enablers in extended ROM) but....
does anyone know what bugs have been fixed, what improvements have been provided and why we should rush out and get this download.
I've got a number of niggles
using my K-Jam (mostly WM5 rather than the hardware) and while I love the idea of push email with GPRS data costs in Australia still being insane, it's the other little fixes that are going to make this really interesting for me (I'm trying to resist joining the crackberry crowd although I do use webmail on the phone more than is good for me!)
As I'm going to be offline all weekend (upgrade to the home network to better integrate the Windows Media Centre into the infrastructure now it's stable!) and trying to get some life away from a keyboard I'm going to be catching up avidly here to see what progress and little tricks have been found with it/for it.
Do SmartKey and RegistryWizard still work (as they make life bearable). Also Chronos (for decent alarms) is a lifesaver for me. I've not had much chance to add any other hacks/utilities/apps yet - still have lots to learn about my new toy
