Hey guys. I have a simple question. I want to flash kernel without fastboot. When I was using Samsung Galaxy W, I can flash kernel through terminal using dd command. But I don't know what is boot partition on Sony Xperia Z1.

Can you help me to fix this problem? Anyway is it safe to flash kernel with dd command?

Thanks before

Samsung is different, there is no such thing here in Sony.

Really? Well, it's a little bit strange. As far as I know every Android device has boot partition. After a little bit research, I've found out that boot partition located on /dev/block/mmcblk0p14

But I'm not really sure about this. Perhaps I should wait for someone who really know about this.

You can flash Doomkernel through Recovery.
Than you will no problem though flash Terminal Emulator.

Looking into the Doomkernel.zip and search the install script search the kernel-portion and give this with some commands in Terminal Emulator.

I was searching the boot flash place.
And found but don't know so much about it.
You can't just flash the kernel through Terminal Emulator you must set permission.

Ask @DooMLoRD
