[Q] download mode in chinese

hello guys,
I flash new custom ROMs in spare time...yesterday I wished to flash CWM RECOVERY in my dad's GT N7100 and tried to go into download mode, but found few Chinese lines in it, with MMS readable in the 3rd line. The recovery mode also gives me only 3 options. please, is there any way to install CWM in this piece so that I can flash ROMs .

Did you buy the phone in a trustable store?. Because these chinese words suggest me that it might be a fake.

my father boutgh it from his friend, so it may be a fake. is there any way out of it? to install cwm?
