[Q] Pairing with pin-less bluetooth mouse in 4.1.2, Mission: impossible
Hi, I have an Acer Iconia B1
tablet, and I'm stuck with Android 4.1.2
I'm trying to pair with a Verbatim 96674
bluetooth mouse, but the pairing process insists in asking for a PIN code, and does not allow to pair without it. The small catch is that this (and probably any bluetooth mouse on earth) does NOT require a PIN
I have tried every single bluetooth pairing app from the store, without success. The "bluetooth pairing" app (com.jpn.frontia.waka.Bluetooth) almost worked, but it never paired the mouse, while "blueinput demo" (com.teksoftco.android.blueinput) reports that my Android "does not support HID", and when trying to pair using SPP, it does not work either.
The question is, can I pair manually
with some of those bluetooth SPP apps in the store? Is there ANY chance of pairing this mouse with Android 4.1.2 or getting a bluetooth mouse with security PIN?
Thanks in advance.
