Ubuntu for low end phones?

Do you think there is any chance of porting ubuntu for a low end samsung phone like mine?
The phone works quite smoothly on jb but I am sure firefox or ubuntu may work much betta on it

yes it is possible because Ubuntu is opensource like android

The possibilities are endless. If Ubuntu has display managers or flavors, you may expect something like LXDE which is lightweight.

But will Ubuntu develop for your specific device? I cannot speak for them but it is probably unlikely so someone will have to build that Ubuntu Touch OS experience for you.

yeah i would love this on my u8686, but not sure if any developers are going to be working on such a low end device
