hello ,

I have Canvas HD a116 with the 4.2.1 (official :updated from MMX service center).I want to root my phone .I have tried to root by motochopper method which is used to root Canvas HD 4.2.1 ..but to no success.I believe that the SUbin method isn't valid for 4.2.1. Can anyone provide any other alternative method to root??

Framaroot is really very easy...now having rooted my device I want to install custom roms ..which are the best for my device(cyanogenmod shows device not compatible). How to customize the phone overall??

SuperLuminaLdad is a very very nice ROM. It runs smoothly. It gives a nexus like experience.

Smile Install CWM recovery
Download recovery image

Place the CWM recovery image in the root of your sd card. root means just open the SD card and place it there itself do not place it inside a folder or sub folder.

Then install mobile uncle tools from playstore.....open it grant su permissiion and now click recovery update option....u ll see that recovery image which u had copied in sd card...click on that click install....and it will automatically install CWM..
