Have any one actually tried it!? i just want to confirm if its just only me or some one else is having the following problem as well...

I have flashed it but its not changing my recovery... i am on TWRP 2.5.0.0 i selected TWRP 2.6.3.0... (tried official and unofficial both several times) not working for me not taking effect...
What's in my pockets these days...
GS1 Captivate & SG Note i717 (Rooted): Captivate is on JB Captivating - Total Xperia Xperience (Awesome work by Sepphi - Very responsive guy ) and i717 is on BeanStalk 4.2.2 by Patch_Adams - A stability concious developer
Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro st15i (Installed official update - LCD touch don't work - any solution guys?)

I believe your problem is that you're on TWRP 2.5 in the first place, it's super buggy and has major issues flashing anything.

Download the modified version of TWRP*2.6.3.0*from here. Put the file in your fastboot folder. Connect phone in fastboot mode, open command prompt from within fastboot folder, issue the following commands:

Code:
fastboot flash recovery "filename.img"
(the exact filename, minus the talking marks)

Code:
fastboot erase cache
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Now try the recovery flasher again.
