Default SPV 600

Hi there,

Firstly, I am new to all this so please dont flame me to hard for it. I have been looking all over the forum and spent some hours here before I decided to post this ops:

I have a SPV M600 and want to do the following

1) Unlock it to T-Mobile
2) Update the rom to the Imate Jamin Rom (I have this)
3) Do I need to clear the ext rom ?

I dont know what tools or programs I need so if someone could kindly tell me where to get these and in what order to do it in, I will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for ignoring my ignorance ops:

Thanks

Not an answer to your question but a question for you:

The SPV M600 has Orange's horrible menu over the top of the regular M$ Today screen. Is it possible to get rid of this and have the standard M$ user interface? The reason I ask is because I'm thinking of getting one as my next PDA/Phone.

Hopefully someone will provide links to all the instructions you need.

Can you please post your version details?

i.e your ROM and radio version etc, because not all of the rom versions can be unlocked....

some people have managed to change ROM to the new Imate one using Machinagod's RUU utility, but it does not sim unlock your device.

Some users have unlocked using Lockiwiz (search in wizard forum), but it does not work with AKU2 ROMS

Hope this helps

hi,

i recently purchased a spv m600. you can easily use the standard today screen. just go into the "today" parameters and uncheck the "orange" entry in the elements section.

i have done this and am happily using a standard today screen. however...

on the orange screen there is a cool menu for the sms stuff. it gives you lots of information about sms receieved, etc... i am missing this a little.

however, without the orange today screen, i can not find the sms program at all. i have been looking around, but have not found the executable to be able to launch or create a shortcut.

if any one out there knows where it is, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all. I have thoroughly searched through the forum and this is the closest I have come to nyoneone mentioning Oranges Today plugin!

I am trying to customise my Today screen using Wisbar Advance & WAD, but the Orange Today plugin keeps poppin up and interfering with available option for the WAD screen. I think it's an incompatibility thing, but I can't get rid of the Orange plugin even though I have it unchecked in the Today settings.

Please help. Is it deletable (the plug-in) or does anyone know its file/application name?

Any help is appreciated. :?

Unceck Orange and press "Ok"
