ok i have never had this much trouble finding a root for a device before, but i guess theres a first time for everything. the only roots i can find is either vroot or kingo which, as my research tells me, is highly unsafe. so if someone could direct me in the right direction that would be awesome. my device info is as follows.

Att samsung galaxy s4 sgh-i337
Android 4.3
baseband version: i337ucuemk2
kernal vsn: 3.4.0-1921628
se.infra@r0304-06 #1
build #: JSS15J.I337UCUEMK2
SELinux status: enforcing
SEPF_SAMSUNG-SGH-1337_4.3_0018 ps what the heck is this one?

Here is the direct download link for the Chainfire's CF-Auto-Root which
is designed for your phone's model i337:
http://download.chainfire.eu/327/CF-...etrieve_file=1

Download it and flash it using Odin.

Good luck!

That's made for the I337m and won't work for him.

I just did a quick search on XDA and read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...252248&page=19
Give it a good read over and try it out if you want...it might help.

That thread is for an older firmware and no longer works on MF3 or MK2.

Saferoot has been used by a lot of folks as mentioned. But, you guys need to get heavy into the SafeStrap threads. All info is there--
