Hello guys, i'm trying to repair my girlfriends t989, you know all girls are destroying phones. so the problem is, that you put in the battery, phone 1st time boots and after 5 secs, just black screen and vibrates. i've searched for this problem, and it says that is the power button, yesterday i changed it, so i thing its something with software, any help guys?

UPDATE: i can go in download mode, but only for a few secs, then slighly blue screen flashes and again vibrating

Is there any way to flash software not through download mode and recovery?

This is the power button for sure.
I had the same problem, and all I did was to open the screws and clean the contacts with alcohol and clean up the edges with tooth pick and put everything back again. Tried couple of times and that fixed my issue.

Hope that helps. .
