REQUIREMENT :

• Have the USB drivers installed on your computer.
• Having Odin307.zip software. Extract this file to obtain the Odin3 v3.07.exe file.
• Unzip the downloaded firmware.
• Cut antivirus protections and close Samsung Kies process.
• Having a charged battery more than 70%.
• Reminder : make a backup of your data as a precaution !

INSTALLATION :


  1. Turn off your tablet.

  2. Launch the Odin3_v3.07.exe file in the unzipped folder.

  3. Make sure you have only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time ticked.

  4. Select the files in the rom unzipped as follows :


    - Code in PDA
    - Csc in CSC
    - Modem in PHONE

  5. In the case of a single file .tar ou .tar.md5, select it in PDA.

  6. On your tablet, press both buttons Volume Down + Home + Power and Volume UP to restart your tablet download.

  7. Connect the tablet to the computer using the original USB cable. The box below ID: COM should be colored.

  8. You should find the Odin window like this :

  9. Click Start to begin the installation.

  10. Wait for the setup and do not touch anything. Your tablet will reboot.

can i pull from it the magazine launcher or it's a system ui changes ?

Not for T520 but close. I want to know if the tablet is locked to a specific region? That means, if I can cross flash ROM from another region provide that the model number (ie. T320UEU1ANAI to T320XXU1ANAG, both are T320) are the same?

Will this work on the 8.4?

Will this work on the Tab Pro 8.4 or is there another stock for that? I know they have the same screen res, but I didn't know if there are differences that would prevent reflashing to this. I need a fallback in case my custom rom screws up.

it stuck in odin i have yried more than 10 frimwares for that but nothing works for me my device in no soft bricked at frist it was running on adriod 4.3 jb on factory test mode how can i fixed it plz help mee it stuck in system.img in odin what can i dooo

Hi,

I have a SM-T520 16GB tablet and I'm trying to flash this firmware with odin but without any success.

I've tried odin 3.07 and 3.09, and several firmwares downloaded from sammobile.com but they all fail at flashing the hidden.img.

Any ideas?

Ok. I finally managed to upload a firmware. the file that works (for me) is:

T520XXUAND1_T520OXAAND1_HOME.tar.md5

    I figured out which firmware is for the T520nzwaxar. It's under "Cellular South" for the U.S. model. After the flash the tablet got stuck on boot screen. was able to clear cache in stock recovery which fixed it.

    you will need to make an account for downloads. they capped the speeds so download should be in about 2 hrs. Not terrible.
