Ok, so the deal... A while ago I unlocked my HTC Flyer and tried to install a custom rom. (not sure atm what rom it was specifically) *something* went horribly wrong in the process. I've unlocked, rooted and booted on custom roms on many devices already the last few years and all looked as normal untill I tried to reboot after a flash... (I always double check to see I have the correct images, versions but as this happened a year ago, I cannot be 100% certain)

So now my Flyer's state:
- Battery indicator led goes orange when I put it on wall socket / usb (eventually stops blinking)
- pressing (&holding) power button has no effect
- (either one or both) volume buttons + power button has no effect

So in short I had a big coaster with an orange LED at the moment.

I tried unscrewing the lot, removing and inserting the battery (aka, hard reset) to no avail.
nothing helps.

ADB will never recognize it as being attached. (if the screen would be dead, I would expect ADB to find the device)

I'm not sure what options I have left, any suggestions, or should I trash it?

I was really hoping I could turn it into a nice navigation rig.
